Salter, William

(* 19.03.1880 London; † 1970), britischer Jurist und Parapsychologe; Studien an der St. Paulʼs School, London, und am Trinity College von Cambridge. 1915 Heirat mit Helen Woollgar de Gaudrion Verrall, Tochter des Mediums Margaret de G. Verrall. Helen S. brachte ihren Mann zur Parapsychologie und war selbst eine Zeitlang Vizepräsidentin der SPR. W.S. war seit 1916 Mitglied der SPR und ihr Präsident 1967/68. Sein besonderes Interesse galt dem Automatischen Schreiben, der Telepathie, den Erscheinungen und dem Fortleben nach dem Tode.
